Now a days preparing ourselves for natural disasters is a must. Schools, colleges and society must take steps to mitigate the impact of these events.The main aim of this club is to educate, train and mobilize communities to response effectively to any emergency.
Disaster Management club aims to empower the young student generation with skills to meet the crisis arising out of Natural and Man made disaster as well as impart knowledge about disaster and saftey measure preparedness among the students to instill the values and render volunteer service in an emergency.
The main objective is to reduce or avoid the potential losses from hazard, appropriate and achive rapid and effective training.
Our Action plan of DM include:
- 1. Speech on the needs for disaster management club during assembly.
- 2. First – aid with available materials during emergency.
- 3. Plantation of trees at Hingang hills and Chirouching at Thangmeiband joining hands with Eco club.
- 4. Emergency call training with the red Cross society.
