1. RULES & REGULATIONS
1.1 Commencement of Academic Session:
Students are required to attend school from the first day of the academic session. Any student who remains absent for more than one week from the commencement of the session without prior written permission from the Principal or Vice Principal shall be deemed to have withdrawn from the school.
In such cases, the student’s name shall be removed from the class rolls, and the admission shall stand cancelled.
1.2 Attendance and Regularity :
Regular attendance is essential for academic progress, discipline, and continuity in learning. Students are expected to attend school
on all working days and participate in all academic and co-curricular activities.
1.3 Leave and Absence:
Students must submit a written leave application signed by their parent or guardian for any absence. Students are not permitted to
leave the school premises during school hours without prior written permission from the Principal or authorized authority.
1.4 Attendance During School Hours:
Students who report to school must remain present for the entire duration of the school day unless permitted otherwise by the school authorities for valid reasons.
1.5 Illness and Health:
Students suffering from contagious or serious illness must not attend school until medically fit. The school reserves the right to request a medical fitness certificate before allowing the student to resume
attendance.
2. ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS AND CBSE COMPLIANCE
2.1 In accordance with school policy and CBSE regulations, all students of all classes are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance during the academic session. This requirement shall apply uniformly to students across all grades of the school. Relaxation in attendance may be granted only on valid medical or other exceptional grounds, subject to submission of appropriate documentary evidence and approval by the Principal, and in accordance with CBSE Affiliation and Examination Bye-Laws.
2.2 Prolonged Absence and Withdrawal:
Any student who remains absent from school for a continuous period exceeding one month without prior written permission from the Principal or without valid communication from the parent or guardian shall be considered to have withdrawn from the school. The student’s name shall be struck off the school rolls, and the admission shall stand cancelled.
2.3 Compliance with CBSE Bye-Laws:
The school strictly adheres to the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws and Examination Bye-Laws regarding attendance and examination eligibility. All decisions concerning student attendance and eligibility shall be governed by these regulations, as amended from time to time.
2.4 Parent and Student Responsibility:
Maintaining regular attendance is a shared responsibility of the student and parent/guardian. Parents must ensure punctuality and regular attendance and promptly inform the school regarding any absence.
2.5 Medical and Exceptional Leave:
Requests for attendance relaxation due to medical or exceptional circumstances must be supported by valid documentary evidence. Approval of such cases shall be at the discretion of the Principal and in compliance with CBSE regulations.
3. SCHOOL UNIFORM (SUMMER & WINTER)
The school uniform represents the identity, discipline, and unity of the institution. All students from Baby Class to Class XII are
required to wear the prescribed uniform with dignity and pride. Compliance with the uniform policy is mandatory. The school follows a timetable-specific uniform system, and students must wear the prescribed uniform according to the Timetable, academic schedule, house activities, and sports requirements.
3.1 General Uniform Requirements (Applicable to All Students)
3.1.1 Mandatory Compliance:
All students must wear the prescribed school uniform during school hours, school functions, and official school activities. Non compliance shall invite disciplinary action.
3.1.2 School Belt (Newly Introduced):
All students from Class I to Class XII must wear the official school belt with the school emblem, as prescribed. The belt is a compulsory part of the daily uniform.
3.1.3 Socks Specification (Revised):
Students must wear white socks with two peacock blue stripes,
as prescribed by the school.
3.1.4 Footwear:
Students must wear only prescribed footwear appropriate to the uniform of the day:
** Regular uniform : Black school shoes
** House uniform : White canvas shoes
** Track suit : White sports shoes
3.1.5 School Hoodie (Newly Introduced Winter Uniform Option):
The official school hoodie, bearing the school logo and colours, is introduced as part of the winter uniform. Students may wear the school-approved hoodie as an outer layer during winter. Hoodies other than the official school hoodie are not permitted.
3.1.6 Winter Uniform Period:
From 1st November until the end of the academic session, winter uniform regulations shall apply. Students must wear the prescribed winter uniform, including blazer, sweater, or school hoodie, as applicable.
3.1.7 Prohibition of Non-Prescribed Clothing:
Wearing non-prescribed items such as jackets, hoodies (other than official school hoodie), or accessories over the uniform is strictly prohibited.

3.4 Uniform Provision for Baby Class, Group I, and Group II
The uniform requirements for students of Baby Class, Group I, and Group II (both boys and girls) shall be as follows:
a) Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday:
Students shall wear school-appropriate casual dress, which must be neat, modest, comfortable, and suitable for the school environment, along with appropriate footwear as prescribed by the school.
b) Thursday and Friday:
Students shall wear the official school track suit with prescribed white sports shoes, as part of the school’s physical education and activity schedule.
Parents are advised to ensure that students adhere strictly to these requirements to maintain uniformity, discipline, and ease of participation in school activities.
3.5 Timetable-Specific Uniform Schedule
Students must adhere to the prescribed uniform schedule. On days when they have Physical Education (P.E.) periods, inter
house intramurals, or other house events, students are required to wear the school sports uniform or tracksuit as specified.
Winter Schedule Track suits may be prescribed as winter uniform from 1st November onwards as notified by the school.
3.6 Grooming and Personal Appearance
Boys
Hair must be short, neat, and presentable.
Stylish haircuts, designs, colouring, or unconventional hairstyles are not permitted.
Girls
Hair must be neatly tied in one or two ponytails or braids.
Prescribed ribbons matching school or house colours must be worn.
Hair must not be left loose during school hours.
3.7 Baby Class and Primary (Special Provision)
Baby Class, Group I, and Group II students shall follow:
Monday to Wednesday : School-appropriate casual dress with shoes (as prescribed by school)
Thursday and Friday : School track suit
3.8 Enforcement and Compliance
The prescribed uniform code is mandatory, and students who violate the uniform policy may be subject to warning and counselling, parent notification, and disciplinary action in cases of repeated violations. The principal reserves the right to modify or update the uniform policy in the interest of discipline, identity, safety, and institutional standards.
4. UNIFORM, APPEARANCE, AND PERSONAL CONDUCT
4.1 School Uniform
Students must attend school in the prescribed uniform, which must be neat, clean, and worn with dignity.
4.2 Personal Appearance and Valuables
Students are not permitted to wear expensive ornaments or bring valuables or large sums of money to school. The school shall not be responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
4.3 Language and Communication
Students are encouraged to communicate in English within the school campus to promote confidence and language proficiency.
5. DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURE
The school is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and disciplined learning environment. All students are expected to adhere to the Rules and Regulations of the school. Any violation shall be addressed through a fair, transparent, and corrective disciplinary process.
5.1 Reporting of Violations
If any breach of the school’s Rules and Regulations, Code of Conduct, or other applicable by-laws comes to the notice of the School Disciplinary Committee, the matter shall be formally reviewed and documented. The Disciplinary Committee shall conduct a preliminary inquiry to ascertain the facts and circumstances of the incident.
5.2 Referral to the Principal
Based on the findings of the Disciplinary Committee, the matter shall be referred to the Principal or Vice Principal for further review and appropriate action. The principal shall be the final authority in determining the course of disciplinary action, in accordance with school policy and CBSE guidelines.
5.3 Corrective and Remedial Measures
Corrective and remedial measures shall be educational and constructive in nature, aimed at promoting student growth, responsibility, and behavioural improvement; these may include verbal warnings and counselling, written warnings, parent notification and meetings, behavioural counselling by the School Counsellor (Health and Wellness Teacher), restorative practices or community responsibility tasks, suspension in cases of serious misconduct, and, in extreme or repeated violations, removal from the school rolls.
5.4 Parent Involvement and Counselling
Parents or guardians shall be informed of serious or repeated disciplinary concerns. The school may conduct joint meetings involving the Principal, Disciplinary Committee, School Counsellor, student, and parent(s) to ensure appropriate corrective support and intervention.
5.5 Role of the School Counsellor
The Health and Wellness Teacher (School Counsellor) shall provide behavioural guidance, emotional support, and counselling interventions where necessary, in alignment with CBSE Safeguarding and Student Well-being guidelines.
5.6 Principles of Fairness and Due Process
The school shall ensure that all disciplinary actions are taken in a fair, impartial, and consistent manner, respecting the dignity and rights of the student while upholding the discipline and values of the institution.
5.7 Authority of the Principal
The decision of the principal regarding disciplinary matters shall be final and binding, in accordance with school policy and CBSE Affiliation and Examination Bye-Laws.
6. DISCIPLINE, CONDUCT, AND BEHAVIOUR
6.1 Expected Conduct
All students must maintain exemplary discipline, demonstrate respectful behaviour, and uphold the dignity and values of the school.
6.2 Respect for School Community
Students must show respect and courtesy to the Principal, teachers, staff, and fellow students. Polite greetings and respectful communication are expected at all times.
6.3 Violence and Misconduct
Any form of violence, bullying, harassment, intimidation, or abusive behaviour—verbal or physical—is strictly prohibited and shall invite disciplinary action.
6.4 Forgery and Dishonesty
Forging signatures, falsifying records, or engaging in dishonest conduct shall be treated as serious disciplinary offences.
7. ADMISSION POLICY
The school follows a fair, transparent, and merit-based admission process in accordance with CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws and institutional policies. Admissions are granted based on eligibility, vacancy, and fulfillment of prescribed criteria.
7.1 General Admission Guidelines
7.1.1 Admission Notification
Information regarding registration, admission criteria, timelines, and procedures shall be notified in advance through the school website, official school communication platforms, and other media channels such as local newspapers and authorized social media platforms.
7.1.2 Vacancy-Based Admission
Admissions to all classes shall be strictly subject to the availability of seats. The school reserves the right to limit admissions based on infrastructure, student-teacher ratio, and CBSE norms.
7.1.3 Registration Requirement
All applicants must complete the prescribed registration process within the notified timeline. Registration is a mandatory prerequisite for admission consideration.
7.1.4 Accuracy of Information
Submission of incomplete forms or false information/documents shall result in rejection of the application or cancellation of admission, even if admission has already been granted.
7.1.5 Authority of the Principal
The Principal reserves the right to grant or deny admission based on eligibility criteria, institutional policies, and CBSE regulations. The decision of the principal shall be final and binding.
7.2 Admission Criteria: Baby Class to Class IX
7.2.1 Registration Process
Admission to Baby Class through Class IX shall be conducted based on seat availability. Details regarding registration timelines, procedures, and admission requirements shall be published through:
- Official school website
- School notice boards
- Authorized school communication channels
- Local media and official school social media platforms
Applicants seeking admission to Class IX shall be required to appear for a mandatory Entrance Examination conducted by the school. Admission shall be granted based on the student’s performance in the Entrance Examination, previous academic record, and fulfillment of eligibility criteria, subject to availability of seats.
7.2.2 Admission Requirements
- Applicants must submit a completed registration form along with all required supporting documents, including proof of age (such as a birth certificate for lower classes) and previous school records where applicable.
- Admission will be granted only after verification of all
documents and fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility criteria.
7.3 Admission to Class XI
Admission to Class XI shall follow a structured and merit-based process, in accordance with CBSE guidelines and school policies.
7.3.1 Mandatory Registration
Registration is compulsory for both existing students of the school and applicants from other schools.
7.3.2 Priority for Existing Students
Existing students of the school shall be given priority for admission to Class XI, subject to eligibility and availability of seats. Remaining seats, if any, shall be offered to eligible students from other schools.
7.3.3 Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Eligibility criteria, subject combinations, minimum academic performance requirements, and admission procedures shall be determined by the school and notified prior to admission.
7.3.4 Conditions for Admission
Only regular students are eligible to apply; incomplete registration forms will not be considered, registration does not guarantee admission, and any admission obtained using false or misleading documents will be cancelled immediately.
7.4 Restrictions on Admission to Board Classes
In accordance with CBSE regulations: No new admissions shall be granted to Class X and Class XII, except as permitted under CBSE Transfer and Migration rules.
7.5 Document Verification and Final Admission
- Admission shall be confirmed only after the verification of all required documents, payment of the prescribed fees, and approval by the school authorities.
- The school reserves the right to cancel admission at any stage if any discrepancy or violation of admission rules is discovered.
8. STUDENT INFORMATION RECORD POLICY
- All personal details of a student—such as Name of the Student, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, PEN (Permanent Education Number), APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) ID, and other identifying particulars—as submitted at the time of first admission to the school shall be treated as final and binding for all official school records and CBSE records.
- These details must strictly match the supporting documents submitted at the time of admission, including:
- Birth Certificate (for proof of Date of Birth)
- Aadhaar Card of the student and parent(s)/guardian(s)
- PEN (Permanent Education Number), where applicable
- APAAR ID (as mandated under the National Education Policy and CBSE guidelines)
- Transfer Certificate (in case of admission from another recognized school)
- Any other official document required under CBSE or Government regulations
- Submission of the PEN Number and APAAR ID is mandatory, wherever applicable, to ensure proper academic record tracking, student identity verification, and compliance with CBSE and national student registry requirements.
- Parents/guardians are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and correctness of all information submitted at the time of admission.
- No request for change or correction in the student’s personal details shall be entertained at a later stage, including requests supported by affidavits or revised documents, except where permitted under CBSE Examination Bye-Laws and subject to approval by the competent authority within the prescribed time limits.
- The school shall not be held responsible for any discrepancy arising due to incorrect or incomplete information provided at the time of admission.
9. SCHOOL FEES POLICY
The school fee structure is established to support the academic, infrastructural, and operational requirements of the institution. All parents/guardians are required to adhere to the prescribed fee payment schedule and regulations.
9.1 Tuition Fees and Other School Dues
9.1.1 Revision of Fees
The school reserves the right to revise tuition fees and other applicable charges periodically to meet operational requirements, statutory obligations, and institutional development needs. Parents/guardians shall be notified in advance of any such revision.
9.1.2 Fee Payment Schedule
Tuition fees shall be payable for the full academic session from April to March, as per the payment schedule notified by the school from time to time. Failure to pay fees within the prescribed timeline may result in the imposition of late payment fines or other administrative action.
9.1.3 Non-Refund Policy
All fees and charges paid to the school, including admission fees, tuition fees, and other applicable charges, are non-refundable under any circumstances, except for the refundable security deposit as specified below.
9.1.4 Security Deposit.
A nominal amount shall be collected as a Security Deposit at the time of admission for students admitted prior to the academic session 2026–27. This deposit shall be:
- Interest-free
- Refundable upon the student leaving the school after completing studies or upon issuance of a Transfer Certificate
- Refundable only upon submission of the original security deposit receipt
- Claimed within six (6) months from the date of leaving the school or completion of the academic session
9.1.5 Withholding of Academic Records
Report cards, Transfer Certificates, Bonafide Certificates, and other official documents shall not be issued to students who have outstanding fee dues.
9.1.6 Proof of Payment
Parents/guardians must retain all official fee receipts issued by the school. In case of any discrepancy or dispute regarding fee payment, the official receipt shall serve as the valid proof of payment.
9.1.7 Request for Fee Payment Extension
In exceptional circumstances, parents/guardians facing genuine financial or personal difficulty may submit a written application to the principal, along with supporting documentation, requesting an extension of the fee payment deadline. Approval of such requests shall be at the sole discretion of the school authorities.
9.2 Transport (Bus) Fees
9.2.1 Payment Schedule
Transport fees shall be payable for the full academic session of twelve (12) months, from April to March, as per the schedule notified by the school. Delay in payment may attract late payment penalties.
9.2.2 Notice for Discontinuation of Transport Service
Parents/guardians must provide one calendar month’s written notice to discontinue the school transport facility. Failure to provide such notice shall result in liability to pay transport fees for one additional month.
9.2.3 Effective Date of Withdrawal from Transport Service
If notice is submitted on or before the 1st day of a month, transport fees shall be charged only for that month. If notice is submitted after the 1st day of the month, transport fees shall be charged for that month and the following month.
9.3 Applicability of General Fee Rules to Transport Fees
The provisions relating to the following clauses shall apply equally to transport fees:
- Fee revision policy
- Non-refund policy
- Withholding of academic records due to unpaid dues
- Requirement to produce fee receipts as proof of payment
- Fee extension request procedure
9.4 Enforcement and Authority
The school reserves the right to take appropriate administrative action in cases of non-payment of fees, including:
- Imposition of late payment fines
- Restriction from examinations, where applicable
- Withholding of report cards and certificates
- Suspension or removal from school rolls in cases of
prolonged non-payment, in accordance with school policy and CBSE guidelines The decision of the principal regarding fee-related matters shall be final and binding.
10. EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION POLICY
The school follows a comprehensive and continuous assessment system in accordance with the CBSE Examination Bye-Laws, Assessment Guidelines, and the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020, ensuring holistic evaluation of student learning and development.
10.1 Academic Year Structure
- The academic session shall commence on 1st April and conclude on 31st March of the following year.
- The academic year shall be divided into two academic terms (Term I and Term II), as per the school’s Annual Academic Planner.
10.2 General Examination Regulations
10.2.1 Mandatory Participation
All students are required to appear for all scheduled assessments, including Internal Assessments, Periodic Tests, Term Examinations, and other evaluation components as prescribed by the school.
10.2.2 Absence from Examination
Students who remain absent from any scheduled test, internal assessment, or term examination for any reason whatsoever shall not ordinarily be re-examined. Granting of any special assessment shall be at the sole discretion of the principal and only under exceptional circumstances supported by valid documentation.
10.2.3 CBSE and NEP Compliance
The school strictly follows the CBSE Assessment Framework and NEP 2020 guidelines, ensuring competency-based, formative, and summative assessment practices across all classes.
10.2.4 Promotion Criteria
Promotion to the next class shall be based on:
- Academic performance across all assessments
- Completion of required internal assessments
- Attendance requirements as per school and CBSE norms
- Overall conduct and discipline
The decision of the school regarding promotion shall be final and binding.
10.3 Assessment Structure by Academic Stage
10.3.1 Foundational Stage: Baby Class to Class II
Students shall be assessed through continuous observation and milestone-based assessment, aligned with thematic learning. Assessment methods include:

- Observation-based evaluation
- Activity-based assessments
- Developmental progress reports

10.3.2 Preparatory Stage: Class III to Class V
10.3.3 Middle Stage: Class VI to Class VIII
Students shall be evaluated through a comprehensive and continuous assessment system comprising the following components:
- Pre Mid-Term Assessment (Term I)
- Periodic Tests
- Subject Enrichment Activities
- Notebook Assessment
- Internal Assessments
- Term I Examination
- Post Mid-Term Assessment (Term II)
- Term II Examination
” These assessments are designed to evaluate students’ conceptual understanding, application skills, participation, and overall academic progress in alignment with CBSE competency-based education standards. ” The detailed assessment schedule, assessment structure, and marks weightage shall be communicated to students and parents through the School Year Planner and official school communication channels, in accordance with CBSE guidelines and school academic policy.
10.3.4 Secondary and Senior Secondary Stage: Class IX to Class XII
Students shall appear for the following assessments during the academic year:
- Periodic Tests
- Internal Assessments
- Subject-specific practicals and projects, where applicable
- Pre Mid Term (Term 1)
- Term I Examination
- Post Mid Term (Term 2)
- Term II Examination
- Pre-Board Examinations (for Classes X and XII)
- Board Examinations (Classes X and XII), conducted by CBSE
The school shall strictly follow the Internal Assessment and Examination Scheme prescribed by CBSE, including:
- Marks distribution
- Internal assessment components
- Project and practical evaluation
- Board examination eligibility criteria
All relevant information shall be communicated to students and parents as notified by CBSE from time to time.
10.4 Result Declaration and Academic Records
*Results shall be declared at the end of each academic term and at the conclusion of the academic session, as per the schedule notified in the School Year Planner.
* The school follows a digital result declaration system, and report cards shall be made available to parents and students through the official school app, as part of the school’s commitment to promoting a paperless, efficient, and environmentally responsible system.
* Parents/guardians who wish to obtain a printed copy of the report card may do so by submitting a written request to the principal, following which the same shall be issued through the school office after due approval.
* For Baby Class to Class VIII, the school issues a Holistic Report Card, in alignment with the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020, which reflects the student’s overall development across scholastic and co-scholastic domains, including competencies, skills, attitudes, values, and participation in co-curricular activities.
* For Class IX to Class XII, the school issues report cards strictly in the format prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). These report cards include scholastic performance, internal assessment marks, practical/project evaluation, attendance, and other details as mandated by CBSE Examination Bye-Laws.
* The Report Card / Progress Report shall include: ” Scholastic achievement in all subjects
- Co-scholastic development and holistic progress (as applicable)
- Attendance record for the relevant assessment period
- Teacher observations, feedback, and recommendations
* Issuance of report cards, Transfer Certificates, Bonafide Certificates, and other academic records shall be subject to clearance of all outstanding school dues and fulfillment of administrative requirements.
* The school shall maintain permanent academic records of each student in accordance with CBSE regulations and statutory requirements.
* The decision of the school authorities regarding result declaration, academic records, and promotion shall be final and binding
11. SCHOOL FACILITIES AND STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
The school provides a range of facilities and student support services to ensure the physical, emotional, psychological, and academic well-being of all students, in accordance with CBSE guidelines and student safeguarding norms.
11.1 Student Wellness and Inclusive Education Support
11.1.1 Counselling and Mental Wellness Support
The school has designated Health and Wellness Teachers (School Counsellors) who work closely with students to support their emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
The counselling services aim to:
- Promote positive mental health and emotional resilience
- Support students in managing academic and personal challenges

Students wishing to avail of school transport must submit a formal application to the principal. Allocation of transport facility shall be subject to seat availability and approved routes.
11.2.2 Fixed Routes Policy
